KFL & A Public Health Medical Health Officer Dr. Piotr Oglaza has confirmed a COVID-19 exposure on Kingston Transit bus route 501 on November 1.
KFL & A Public Health cannot identify all passengers on these routes and is issuing a public notice to assist with contact tracing.
The following times were affected:
Monday, November 1: Route 501 leaving Cataraqui Center Transfer point at 2:00 pm until arriving at Princess Street (south side) in Kingston Center at 2:15 pm
KFLA Public Health says there is a low risk of exposure to the public. However, they are asking those who rode the bus to monitor for symptoms until 10 days after the last possible exposure or November 11. They are also asking those people to take tests on November 8.
“If you currently have symptoms, immediately isolate yourself and make an appointment for the test at the COVID-19 Community Assessment Center. “
