Cirque du Soleil appoints Stéphane Lefebvre as President and CEO

Stéphane Lefebvre has been appointed President and CEO of Cirque du Soleil. The announcement was made Tuesday afternoon at a press conference at the Cirque headquarters in St-Michel.

Lefebvre was previously COO of the Montreal-based circus company. The appointment takes effect on December 1.

He replaces Daniel Lamarre, who resigns as president and CEO. Lamarre becomes executive vice president of the board.
