The Mexican club won the first game of the aggregate series, 1-0, last Tuesday at Torreón, Mexico.

The postponement was announced shortly after 6 pm Monday by officials at Olympic Park, citing the impending weather forecast and freezing rain warning issued Tuesday for the Montreal area.

According to the stadium’s management protocol, any event held between Nov. 1 and March 31 can be postponed if, within 24 hours of it occurring, more than 3 cm of snow or freezing rain is forecast. Also, there can be no snow or ice loads greater than five metric tons on the roof at the start of an event. Plus there can be no ice accumulation on the tower facade or on the suspension cables between the tower and roof.

All tickets sold will be honored Wednesday. Those wishing a refund must contact their original point of purchase before Wednesday at 10 am
