The Chilean retail group Cencosud reported Friday that its profit doubled year-over-year in the first quarter, to $252 million.
The total income of Cencosud, with operations also in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Perutotaled 3,700 million dollars in the period, 21.2% more than those reported between January and March 2021.
