“The expected economic benefit for this Mother’s Day would be 30% higher than that registered by the National Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism in 2019, before the Covid-19 pandemic. The most frequent purchase or consumption ticket will be this May 10, in a range between 500 and 1,100 pesos, according to the sampling carried out among the 257 National Chambers, which affiliate more than 800,000 companies in the tertiary sector.

The most demanded items on May 10 are mainly women’s clothing and accessories, cosmetics, perfumes, white goods and electronics, which are purchased through various payment methods such as debit and credit cards, cash or digital transactions.
