CDMX will remain on a green light for two more weeks

The capital authorities announced that Mexico City will stay two more weeks in the green color of the Epidemiological Traffic Light in line with the pronounced casualties that have occurred in active cases and hospitalizations.

In the Metropolitan Area of ​​Mexico City, at the last cutoff, 761 hospitalized for Covid-19 were registered, which implied the historical minimum of serious patients since the pandemic arrived in the capital.

Eduardo Clark, general director of Digital Government of the Digital Agency for Public Innovation, also commented that the number of active cases also reached its minimum levels. The drops in infections were registered in all age groups, including minors.

The health authorities added that in the hospitals 80% of patients who developed severe coronavirus disease were not vaccinated.
