ARMAGH | The municipality of Armagh in Bellechasse was upset yesterday the day after the death of a two-year-old girl hit by a tractor on agricultural land.

According to the first findings of the Sûreté du Québec, the event of infinite sadness occurred while the young child was sitting on the tractor with an adult.
She would have slipped on the ground before being hit by the vehicle, even if it was traveling “at very low speed”.
“It is the thesis of an accidental event that has been favored so far,” said Sergeant Hélène St-Pierre.
The tragedy occurred around noon on Wednesday on a property on 8and Rank.

Councilor Marie-Ève Caron, who does not live very far, said she was deeply saddened.
