Major League Soccer said Saturday that it will resume its season after the MLS is Back tournament in Florida ends. The league's 26 teams will play 18 games each, with the first between FC Dallas and Nashville scheduled for Aug. 12. Dallas and Nashville are playing an additional three games after withdrawing from the league tournament due to positive COVID-19 cases. Most games will be played without fans due to local regulations. The teams will be subject to a rigorous testing protocol and will use charter flights to travel. MLS continues to work with Canadian teams due to travel restrictions. Canadian teams have not been included in the first phase of the calendar.
