A new survey shows that nearly 86% of teens own an iPhone

According to the latest version of Piper Sandler's semi-annual teen survey, nearly 86% of teens own an iPhone, and 89% of them expect their next phone to be from Apple. It is no surprise that there is still a great deal of unease in Ontario’s dealer landscape because of COVID-19. While dealer teams are happy that the province has slowly begun to reopen and that vehicle sales are showing signs of starting to recover, many are expressing concern by the impact the months long near shutdown of the economy has had on the industry and what it means going forward. To that end, the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Counsel (OMVIC) along with various industry stakeholders conducted a survey of dealers and vehicle sales associates to better gauge the impact of the pandemic – COVID-19: the Impact, the Opening and the Way Forward. Google rolls out feedback survey for Android 11 Beta 2 testers

Google is seeking feedback from testers using Android 11 Beta 2. In a post on the ‘r/android_beta‘ Reddit page, the Official Google Account requested beta testers complete an anonymous survey about the new beta. “This helps us identify improvements or regressions between releases and prioritize key issue areas,” Google explained in the post. Further, the company said it planned to continue survey testers throughout the Beta Program. Google also asked users to fill out the survey only if they were running the latest Beta 2 release. As Ontario’s economy gradually eases into normalcy after months of disruption, it’s clear—as evidenced by the results of a recent survey by Ontario’s Vehicle Sales Regulator, OMVIC—the province’s auto retail sector has been significantly impacted and recovery will be a long process. In June, the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC) developed and conducted a survey of dealers and salespeople—this was done in consultation with several industry stakeholders.
