Rocket League going free-to-play — and getting its ‘biggest’ update yet

Rocket League players, get ready: Things are about to change in a major way.The online soccer game is getting a massive update later this summer, according to developer Psyonix. First and foremost, the game, which currently costs $19.99, is going free-to-play.That means players will be able to access most features completely free of charge. Premium content — like many banners, wheels and items — will still be available for additional purchase.Psyonix also announced that Rocket League is leaving Steam, and will instead be available for download in the Epic Games Store.
