The report of The Elec indicates that the successor to the Z Flip will not launch at the same time as the S21 as it did last year. In fact, Samsung is expected to introduce the phone after the first quarter of 2021. Samsung Galaxy S21 could offer Bixby Voice as an authentication option

In recent years, phone manufacturers have made it easier to unlock devices with new and convenient authentication methods, such as improved fingerprint scanners, face unlock systems, and more. While many of these systems have benefits (greater convenience) and drawbacks (less security or reliability), people tend to prefer them over more tedious options like entering a PIN or password each time they want to unlock their phone. However, an upcoming Samsung device could add a new biometric authentication system. According to Sammobile, the rumored Galaxy S21 flagship line will allow people to unlock their phones using voice recognition. Sammobile cites "sources" who have told the publication that Bixby Voice will act as a biometric ...

Samsung reportedly to launch Galaxy Z Fold 3 with S Pen in June

Samsung seems to be doing things a little differently next year. Previous rumors indicated that the South Korean tech giant would launch the Galaxy S series in January next year instead of February as in previous years. Now a new report from AJUNews indicates that Samsung is ditching the Note series, and customers who want to use the S Pen will need the Galaxy S21 Ultra or Galaxy Z Fold 3. AJUNews Indicates that this news comes directly from Samsung Electronics. Also, Samsung reportedly says that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to have an earlier release. Last year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in August, but it launched the device in September. Samsung is also reportedly finalizing the specs for the Galaxy Z Fold 3...

Leaked OnePlus 9 Pro Renders Reveal First Look at Next Device

Leaked versions of the upcoming OnePlus 9 Pro suggest that the device will adopt the OnePlus 8T design but retain a curved screen. OnLeaks has released initial versions of the OnePlus 9 Pro, showing that the manufacturer may have chosen to merge the designs of the 8 Pro and the 8T. The OnePlus 9 Pro seems to keep the basic front design with a left-mounted, curved hole-punch display. However, unlike the OnePlus 8 Pro, this device will swap the centered camera for one mounted on the left side, just like the 8T. The device will reportedly have four camera sensors similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with metal rings around the two main lenses. Also, the leak suggests that the phone houses a 6.7-inch curved screen. The back of...

IOS 14.2.1 Update Fixes Several Minor iPhone 12 Bugs | MobileSyrup

If you own a new iPhone 12 series device, including iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max, Apple's latest update resolves several minor issues. According to the release notes of the update, 'iOS 14.2.1' fixes an issue that caused some MMS messages to not be received, hearing devices suffered a sound quality problem, and the lock screen stopped responding with the iPhone 12 mini. I didn't find any of these issues, but if you're having difficulties with your iPhone 12, this update is worth installing. To download the update, go to 'Settings' and then 'Software update'. Reports emerged recently that some iPhone 12 owners are encountering a flicker / tint issue with the OLED screen of the smartphone series. W...

Reports began to appear on Apple Support Communities page, and there is also no solution to the problem yet. According to MacRumors, which obtained an internal document sent to authorized service providers, Apple is aware of the problem and has advised technicians not to repair iPhones experiencing this glitch. The document reportedly says that technicians should tell iPhone 12 users to keep their software up-to-date, suggesting there is a chance that the problem will...

Some Pixel 5 users have noticed problems with the volume level

Unfortunately, Google smartphones are rarely released without at least a few issues. The most recent concern with the Pixel 5 posted on Google Support Forums refers to the volume level control of the smartphone. There are reportedly two problems, with some users noticing that the volume level drops randomly when watching video content. Second, some users also noticed a massive increase in system volume levels affecting notification tones, touch sounds, clicks on screenshots, and other system sounds. Also, using the volume controls and sliders does not fix the problem. These reports have started to appear in mid-October, but have increased after more people started using the device. Google is aware of the volume issues and gave t...

Former Essential Employees Starting OSOM Phone Company

If you were a fan of the Essential Phone, then you might be in luck because a group of former Essential employees is starting a new company. The company is run by Jason Keats, who was apparently the first person to be hired by Andy Rubin on Essential. The new company is called OSOM Privacy, which means "Out of sight, out of mind." In an interview with CNET, Keats said the reason Essential failed was that he only had 80 percent of an idea. OSOM, on the other hand, has a singular focus on making an Android device that is super private. I'm not sure this idea is the correct counterpart to Essential, which partly fell through due to allegations of sexual assault from its CEO. However, privacy of personal data is becoming much more i...

It also has a 4,300 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 765G processor. In my review of the Velvet 5G, I said that the smartphone "is not the best upper mid-range device on the market, but it is by far the most stylish thanks to its pretty pink ba...

Google Launches Baby Blue Pixel 4a Color Variant In The US

In September, it was revealed that the Google Store servers featured a render of a sky blue Pixel 4a with an orange accented power button. Now it seems that the the phone is officially available in the US. In the US, the baby blue color variant costs the same as the Just Black variant at $ 349. It also states that this is a limited edition product that will only be available while supplies last. Unfortunately, only the original Pixel 4a gets the new color and not the 5G variant. On the Canadian website, it appears that there is only the Just Black variant of the Pixel 4a and not the sky blue version. However, we reached out to Google Canada to see if this new color variant will also launch in Canada. Source: The edge ...
