Koodo blocked some accounts in response to ‘credential stuffing’ campaign

Several Koodo customers received emails related to the operator on Tuesday about their accounts being locked after Koodo detected suspicious attempts to log in. "We learned that there have been recent attempts to log into your account with valid credentials (your username and password) that originated from a suspicious source," the email reads. "Our investigation has revealed that Koodo did not share his credentials with any unauthorized user." Koodo also explains in the email that it locked users' accounts to protect them from login attempts. Emails direct customers to reset their passwords.
