Somewhere up there you can almost hear Clear the Track, Here Comes Shack.The famous line from his 1966 novelty song preceded Eddie Shack through an adventurous career on the ice, in front of advertising cameras and as the life of any party he walked into with his trademark feathered cowboy hat. On Saturday night. ‘The Entertainer’ exited at age 83 in Toronto, after a worsening battle with throat cancer though much of 2020.The Maple Leafs are deeply saddened by the passing of Eddie Shack.A three-time all star and four-time Stanley Cup champion, Eddie entertained Leafs fans on the ice for nine seasons and for decades off of it.
