Driver in shocking Brampton crash video walks away, faces charge

A 28-year-old Wasaga Beach man has been charged after a car careened into a Brampton residential neighbourhood, smashing through a fence and rolling several times into a parked car before coming to a stop.Peel Regional Police say the spectacular crash happened on Canada Day at 1:47 p.m. when the driver, who was eastbound on Williams Pkwy. near Valleyway Dr., lost control, hit the curb, and catapulted over a fence onto Commodore Dr. where he hit a tree and a parked car before coming to a halt near a home.Luckily no one was walking on the sidewalk at the time of the crash and the driver miraculously walked away with minor injuries.“I can’t say for sure speed is a factor, but it’s for sure something (investigators) will be looking at,” Const.
