Gboard update improves voice typing with the Google Assistant

Reports indicate that some Pixel users come across a "New!" banner after opening Gboard and tapping the microphone icon. According to Google, the new feature is prepared to help users "save time typing" using the Assistant. Now after tapping the microphone button you can say "delete" to delete what was previously transcribed, instead of having to use the backspace key. WhatsApp launches a redesigned storage management tool

WhatsApp, owned by Facebook, has released a redesigned storage management tool to help users identify and delete files in bulk. The new tool groups large files and media that have been "forwarded many times" so that you can easily identify content that you no longer need or want. From there, you can quickly delete the files all at once. This new tool is a step up from the current 'storage usage' feature that simply displays your current chats by the amount of space they take up and then allows you to remove the categories. Google Meet now allows users to choose custom backgrounds for video calls

Google Meet now allows users to replace their background with one of their hand-selected images or one of their own uploaded photos. Selected images include office spaces, landscapes, and abstract backgrounds.
