First of all, it's hard not to be surprised by the lack of an iPhone on this prerecorded keynote. Every September for years, there have been a bevy of new iPhones, so it's strange that this month goes by with just Apple Watch and iPad ads. Still, the new watches are interesting and offer new options for consumers. Apple Watch Series 6 and SE are now available in Canada

Apple's new high-end smartwatch, the Apple Watch Series 6, as well as the entry-level version of the wearable, the Apple Watch SE, are now available online and in Canadian stores. Apple Watch Series 6 New features on the Apple Watch Series 6 include blood oxygen level detection, an altimeter, a faster S6 processor, and a brighter, always-on display. This year there are 'Blue', 'Gold', 'Silver', 'Space Gray' and 'Product Red' versions of the Series 6 that come in the usual aluminum and stainless steel variants. Apple Watch Series 6 is a welcome update for the reigning smartwatch champion

The first thing I noticed about the Apple Watch Series 6 that Apple sent me to review is that it is extremely blue. I'm not afraid of colorful devices, and in fact I'd probably say the 'yellow' iPhone 11 is one of my favorite smartphones of the past few years, but I was a bit surprised by how deep and not subtle the new one is. Series 6. The 'blue' shade is. In a way, it makes the smartwatch look a bit cheap, unfortunately, but of course how you feel about the color will depend on your personal preferences.
