Hellmann’s Island in Animal Crossing turns virtual food waste into real food for those in need

As part of its global brand mission to educate consumers on how to reduce food waste, Hellmann's Canada has created Hellmann's Island at Nintendo's Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which offers players the opportunity to turn their virtual food waste into real food for those who need it. Every week Animal Crossing players buy turnips from the 'Stalk Market' which will go bad if they are not sold within the week. From 3 PM EST on Monday, August 17 to 12.15 AM EST on Saturday, August 22, players will be able to visit Hellmann's Island to leave their turnips spoiled and explore the other beautiful attractions on the island. Second Animal Crossing summer update brings Dream Suite and cloud saves

The second summer update is coming out for Animal Crossing: New Horizons on July 30th with three significant new features. The first, and most exciting, is the addition of something similar to the ‘Dream Suite’ from previous titles in the series. Post-update, when you nap in your house, you’ll be transported to a strange realm where the previous caretaker of the Dream Suite, Luna, will help send you to other ‘Dream Islands.’ When you visit someone’s Dream Island, you can do whatever you want because nothing is saved.
