DVP closed this weekend for annual maintenance – The Canadian News

Drivers will be out of Don Valley Parkway for the entire weekend due to its annual maintenance. The DVP will close at 11 pm Friday from the Gardiner Expressway to Highway 401. It is scheduled to reopen at 5 am Monday. The closure also affects some of ActiveTO's major road closures, including the weekly closures along Lakeshore Boulevard East and Bayview Avenue. The city also reminds drivers that residential street parking permit enforcement resumes on Friday after it has been on hold since the pandemic began.

Long weekend road closures for ActiveTO – The Canadian News

Toronto is moving to Stage 3 today and it's the start of a long weekend, which means the roads are likely to be busier than usual. On top of that, ActiveTO road closures will be in place over the long weekend, so drivers will want to plan ahead. Lake Shore Boulevard East will be closed from Windermere Avenue to Stadium Road and from Leslie Street to South Woodbine Avenue. Bayview Avenue will also be closed facing Rosedale Valley Road, and River Street will be closed between Gerrard Street and Bayview. Also note that parking at Sunnyside Park, Budapest Park and Sir Casimir Gzowski Park will be closed all weekend. ActiveTO road closures include sections of Lake Shore and Bayview – CityNews Toronto

Road closures will be in effect this weekend for ActiveTO. The eastbound lanes of Lake Shore Boulevard West between Windermere Avenue and Stadium Road, and from Leslie Street to just south of Woodbine Avenue, will be closed. The eastbound Gardiner Expressway off-ramp to Lake Shore will also be closed. Bayview Avenue between Front Street East to Rosedale Valley Road, and River Street from Gerrard Street East to Bayview Avenue, will be off-limits to drivers. The closures are from 6 a.m. on Saturday to 11 p.m. on Sunday. ActiveTO allows people to walk, run, and cycle on city streets while being physically distant.
