Both Ottawa college football teams were victorious this weekend.

The University of Ottawa Gee-Gees won 20-17 on Saturday at home against York. A complete score by Ben Maracle on the third down to Nicholas Gendron with 1:06 left provided the margin of victory. Alex Douglas intercepted a pass from York to finish it off. Campbell Fair threw four field goals for the Gee-Gees.

After a tough loss at the Panda Game to their city rivals, the Carleton Ravens rallied Friday night with a 27-24 victory over the University of Toronto Blues.

Brandon Forcier kicked the game-winning field goal from 21 yards with four seconds left to give the Ravens the margin of victory. Nathan Carter rushed 20 times for 109 yards with a touchdown. Quarterback Reid Vankoughnett completed 12 of 18 passes for 185 yards, with touchdown passes to Kaseem Ferdinand and Keaton Bruggeling.
