Canada sends $25 million in non-lethal military equipment

Canada announced on Sunday $25 million in non-lethal military equipment to support Ukraine.

Notably, Ottawa will send bulletproof vests, combat helmets and night vision goggles.

“Let it be clear, we intend to do more. In order for this equipment to arrive as quickly as possible, I made sure with my Polish counterpart that we had an access route, ”said the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mélanie Joly, in the afternoon.

Canada is providing cybersecurity assistance to Ukraine, Defense Minister Anita Anand said Sunday. She reiterated that there will be no Canadian military deployment in Ukraine.
