The Prime Vice President and Minister of the Economy, Nadia Calvin, has been elected to chair the International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMF), a body of the IMF, as confirmed by the minister herself on her Twitter account.
In his message, he thanked the IMF governors for the election and stated that “multilateral coordination is key to guaranteeing financial stability and promoting strong, sustainable and inclusive growth.”

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, also in that social network has indicated: “You will be the prime minister of Spain and the second woman to chair the main advisory committee of the IMF.”
