Call between AMLO and Biden was constructive and focused on migration

The tone of the call was “very constructive,” he said. Jen Psakispokesman for the US presidency.

The call comes a few days before AMLO travels to Central America and Cuba.

The US Customs and Border Protection Office reports 7,800 apprehensions of undocumented immigrants per day along the border with Mexico in the last three weeks, almost five times the average of 2014-2019.

The US authorities foresee an increase in the number of migrants when Title 42 is lifted, a rescission that raises blisters among Republicans and some of the Democratic congressmen from the states bordering Mexico.
