Calgary police cancel Amber Alert after missing child deemed safe | The Canadian News

Hours after issuing an Amber Alert, the Calgary Police Service canceled it after they determined “the child in question is safe.”

The Amber Alert was canceled shortly after 10 pm Police later said the child was “safely located” but did not provide further details.

The alert was originally issued Thursday night by police after they said they believed a two-year-old boy’s mother abducted him following a supervised visit in northeast Calgary.
