Calgary Homicide Detectives Investigate After Woman Found Dead in Parked Vehicle – Calgary | The Canadian News

The Calgary Police Service’s homicide unit is investigating what it considers a suspicious death after a woman was found dead in a parked vehicle.

Police said officers were called to the 500 block of Cranston Drive SE shortly before 3 pm Thursday after someone reported a “medical event.”

“Upon arrival, officers found a woman in a parked vehicle who appeared to be unconscious and unconscious,” police said in a press release. “The emergency medical services were also on the scene and declared that the woman had died.

“Our investigators are working to identify the woman and notify her closest relatives.”

Police said an autopsy was scheduled for Friday.

Anyone with information about what happened or who saw any “suspicious activity in the area in the early hours of December 2” should call CPS at 403-266-1234. Suggestions can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
