Cabin burned down in South Frontenac, belongings stolen; Suspicious arson caused by OPP – Kingston | The Canadian News

The OPP says a family’s cabin in South Frontenac was set on fire in early September, and investigators are treating the incident as arson.

According to police, the Buck Bay Road cabin caught fire sometime between September 13 and 19.

Several dependencies were also raided.

An ATV, trailer, generator, firearms and other belongings were stolen from the site, police say.

OPP is investigating the incident in conjunction with the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office.

The police ask anyone with information to contact them.
