US Border Patrol Affidavit Says Naseem Ali Mohammed Is Suspected In Multiple Metro Vancouver Gang Murders

After evading police on both sides of the Canadian-US border for 22 months, a high-profile member of the Brothers Keepers gang was arrested in Seattle.

Naseem Ali Mohammed, 23, was indicted on various charges on November 8, according to US jail records. He was using the name Mobert Ahmad.
However, the online registry lists his real name as an alias and says that he has now been charged with two counts of theft and possession of a stolen vehicle with another federal felony charge pending in the US.
Sources confirmed that the person arrested is the same gangster who sneaked across the BC-Montana border last January after hiding in Canada since March 2020.
Mohammed is being held at the King County Correctional Center near Seattle. No court dates are listed and the district attorney’s office was closed for the Thursday holiday.
He was already facing felony charges in Montana for falsely claiming U.S. citizenship and making a false statement to a U.S. department or agency. Those charges carry a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a fine of $ 250,000.

On the morning of January 23, he was arrested after crossing the border at a non-control post with three older men. He had no identification, claimed his name was Ahmed Bati and said he was born in Seattle.
Authorities released him after several hours, as a fingerprint check did not show any records in the United States. They later learned of his true identity, as well as his link to the notorious BC gang, and more serious charges were filed.
In February, US Border Patrol Agent Seth Justesen swore an affidavit describing Mohammed as “a high-ranking member of the Brothers Keepers gang in Surrey, British Columbia.”
“Canadian authorities have reported that Mohammed is the prime suspect in multiple gang-related killings spanning two provinces,” the Justesen affidavit also said.

Royal Surrey Mounted Police Sgt. Elenore Sturko said her detachment “is aware of the arrest of Naseem Mohammed in the United States.” “As the investigation progresses, we will continue to work with our partners at CFSEU and the US authorities. “
CFSEU Sgt. Brenda Winpenny said that BC gang members “are often the perpetrators or victims of extreme acts of violence, creating a lifetime of always having to look over their shoulders in fear while creating enemies.”
“These gangsters are fleeing the country in an attempt to escape their past. However, they cannot escape, and sooner or later this tragic lifestyle will catch up with them. The recent arrest of Mohammed in the United States is just another example of this, while creating more victims along the way. “

Mohammed has not been charged with any murder in Canada. But he faces other charges in both British Columbia and Ontario.
In March 2020, he was charged with deliberately resisting a law enforcement officer and escaping legal custody after sneaking out the back door of his home in Surrey during a curfew control. He was charged with illegal confinement, assault, pointing a firearm, issuing death threats, theft and robbery after a dispute with another man on December 12, 2019.
Mohammed, who raps under the name Certi2x, has continued to do Instagram live events despite being on the run. He released a new song online on September 24 called “f – k the other side” about shooting rivals.
Last May, Surrey RCMP reissued a Wanted poster for him, calling it “a priority target.”

The Brothers Keepers was started in the mid-2010s by Gavin Grewal, who was shot and killed in his North Vancouver attic on December 22, 2017. No one has been charged with his murder.
The gang has been embroiled in a bloody battle with other rivals, including the Red Scorpion-Kang group and the United Nations. The Brothers Keepers is aligned with the Hells Angels Hardside chapter.
Just last week, the Combined Anti-Gang Combined Forces Enforcement Unit announced that 27 charges had been filed after a three-year investigation against the Guardian Brothers.
CFSEU said the gang had aggressively expanded from the Lower Mainland to Vancouver Island and Kamloops.
