Body Found in Far East Toronto, Homicide Unit Investigates – Toronto | The Canadian News

Toronto police say a body was found on the eastern edge of the city, near the Toronto Zoo.

Emergency crews were called to the Old Finch Avenue and Reesor Road area around 12:12 a.m. Monday.

Toronto firefighters said they received a call about a grass fire in the area.

Officers were then called in for a “something suspicious” report.

Homicide investigators have taken over the investigation and police said the investigation is ongoing at this time. Anyone with information can call the police.

There is no information on the age or sex of the victim.
