The Blue Jays have signed free-agent left-handed starter Yusei Kikuchi to a three-year contract worth $36 million (US), according to multiple reports.
The 30-year-old Kikuchi started 70 games for the Seattle Mariners over the last three seasons, compiling a 15-24 record with a 4.97 ERA, after eight seasons in Japan.
The deal was first reported by MLB Network’s Jon Heyman.
