It costs $50 to play the Instant game Supreme 7 — but it was well worth it for Belle River resident Michael Marshall, who just picked up a prize check for $700,000.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation announced Marshall’s big win on Tuesday.

He bought his Supreme 7 play at a Petro Canada station somewhere on Tecumseh Road in Windsor.

Every play of Supreme 7 grants the buyer a pouched pack of seven scratch tickets — colored red, silver, purple, pink, blue, green, and gold.

$700,000 is the top prize in the game, achievable in different ways on each scratch ticket.

The odds of winning the top prize are typically one in 969,000.

Marshall’s lucky play makes him the region’s biggest scratch game winner so far this year.

Last November, Windsor resident Glenn Weitz won $3 million after paying $30 for a ticket of the Triple Millions scratch game.
