Arrest Made in Latest Winnipeg Homicide – Winnipeg | The Canadian News

Winnipeg police have made a quick arrest in the city’s latest homicide.

Flora Gray, 41, was found seriously injured in a home in the 500 block of College Avenue just before 1 a.m. Monday.

In a statement the same day, police said Gray was rushed to hospital in critical condition where she later died.

Police have not said how Gray was killed.

On Tuesday, investigators announced that charges had been brought against a 35-year-old Winnipeg woman who was known to the victim.

Lori Nadine Sinclair has been charged with manslaughter.

Investigators allege that the defendant and Gray had been in a fight at the home that escalated into a robbery.

Sinclair has been taken into custody.
