An airline welcomes animals in the cabin

Lynx Air, Canada’s new affordable airline will allow travelers to bring their dogs or cats on board planes at a low price.

For a $59 one-way ticket, travelers will not only be able to bring carry-on baggage into the cabin, but also their four-legged best friend.

Small dogs and cats will now be able to accompany their master on the plane, provided that they are caged.

“We know that for many Canadians, pets are beloved members of the family and we don’t want them to miss family vacations,” said Merren McArthur, CEO of Lynx.

Passengers will need to indicate the presence of their furry friend at the time of booking, as a limited number of pets are permitted on board. In addition, travelers are also encouraged to arrive two hours early to check in and ensure that the cage complies with regulations.
