President Andrés Manuel López Obrador reported this Tuesday that at 8:00 a.m. they will attend National Palace several deputies, this to thank them for having approved the Expenditure Budget of the Federation 2022.
“There will be legislators, here in the Central Patio, deputies who have been invited because we want to thank them for their support, for their support, for the approval of the Budget, which will help many people, “said the president in his morning press conference.
The President assured that the approved Budget will benefit 25 million families, especially the most humble and poor people, even the middle class; in turn, he stressed that also with these resources, the construction of works such as the New Felipe Angeles Airport, as well as the works in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, among other.
He highlighted that legislators helped to approve PEF 2022. “It is a budget for the welfare of the people, so we are going to have a meeting with them at 8 in the morning,” he stressed.
The legislators approved, after a marathon session, in general and in particular the Expenditure Budget of the Federation (PEF) for 2022, with 273 votes in favor, 214 against and zero abstentions, after the discussion of 1,994 reservations that were presented by the different banks, and of which none were approved.
