AMLO makes changes in his cabinet; Ariadna Montiel is the new head of Wellbeing and Javier May del Fonatur

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador made changes in his cabinet on Tuesday, the first president in full confinement by Covid-19, made castings in the Secretariat and Undersecretary of Welfare; Undersecretary of Transport, National Fund for Tourism Development (Fonatur) and the Mexico City International Airport (AICM).

The Secretary of the Interior, Adam Augusto López Hernández, on behalf of AMLO after testing positive for Covid-19, gave possession to the new Secretary of Welfare, Ariadna Montiel Reyes, already Javier May Rodriguez, as the new general director of Fonatur.

May Rodríguez arrives to replace Rogelio Jimenez Pons, who will become undersecretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT).

For its part, the former head of the National System for the Integral Development of the Family (SNDIF), Maria del Rocío García Pérez, will be the new Undersecretary of Welfare, and Carlos Moran Moguel, General Manager of the Mexico City Airport.
