Two days after the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) published an emergency directive that seeks to establish maximum rates for railway concession companies as a measure to mitigate inflation for the benefit of the population, those involved stated your disagreement.

As a consequence of the current situation, it was argued that for some basic products, such as corn, there are very high tariffs, derived from the monopoly power of the concessionaires, with the consequent impact on the economy of the families. It is estimated that the price of a kilo of tortilla is approximately one peso more expensive for the population, due to the high costs and restrictions in the corn transportation service.
