America Movil reported that its shareholders’ meeting approved an increase of 26,000 million pesos (about 1,300 million dollars) in its fund for the repurchase of its own shares for the period April 2022-April 2023.
América Móvil, controlled by the tycoon’s family Charles Slimpointed out that to date, the repurchase fund amounts to 36,539 million pesos (about 1,828 million dollars).
The company’s shares closed on Wednesday with a drop of 0.68% in the local stock market, at 21.50 pesos.
