Actor Alec Baldwin is ready to have another daughter after his wife Hilaria announced the gender of their seventh child.

It will be the eighth time that the actor has become a father, the seventh time with Hilaria.

The couple will have a girl to add to Carmen, 8, Rafael, 6, Leonardo, 5, Romeo, 3½, Eduardo, 18 months, and Maria, 13 months.

Alec also has a daughter, Ireland, 26, with his first wife, Kim Basinger.

Hilaria’s pregnancy announcement came a few weeks after she told her Instagram followers she was taking a break from social media. She wrote: “Hello friends! I’m going to take a break, I promise I’ll be back,” she wrote.

“I love you all and I know you care so I want to let you know. I could check in from time to time, leave you a photo and tell you that we are fine.”

The Baldwins posted a video on Instagram, sharing their exciting news, where the entire family was seen giving advice to the unborn baby. And Hilaria said: “I share with you our family’s hopes and wishes, encouragement and advice for our new baby.

“I am so happy to see these children, who are full of love and the most simple and kind wisdom. Hearing them share their words is one of my greatest gifts in life.”

Hilaria said she knew what gender the baby would be in April, but didn’t say anything publicly for a couple of reasons.

First of all, she suffered a miscarriage in April 2019, as well as a miscarriage in November of the same year, and she didn’t want old wounds to resurface.

She said on her Instagram story: “I lost a baby at four months in 2019. I think of her every day and understand that motherhood has its beauty and its darkness, but I will wait until I am past the point where I lost my daughter. .”

Second, she wanted to be respectful and gender-inclusive, adding, “A lot of you know how connected I am to the LGBTQIA+ community and I’m talking to some people I trust about how I can be considerate and inclusive to help select a more gender inclusive world community.

“Given all the prejudice I’m seeing in this country right now, I need to pause and think it through and get some advice.

“It hurts me so much to see people being vilified and harassed and not included for simply being who they are. Peaceful, loving and beautiful humans.

“Be good to yourselves and lots of love and good energy for you. I value our community.”
