The producer of ‘Alcarràs’, Tono Folguera, pointed out that they are “very happy” but not surprised by the reception, since they predicted that the premiere would be a “success”. Folguera celebrated that it is the most watched film abroad in some places outside of Catalonia such as Galicia, Salamanca, León or Valladolid. “It’s a film in Catalan that transcends our borders and brings the language and culture closer to Catalonia, which makes it a double satisfaction,” she said.

Folguera invited the public to see the film to support “Catalan cinema and cinemas, which are going through a difficult time.”
