Alberta recorded 1,592 new COVID-19 cases since Friday, according to the latest provincial figures.

709 cases were reported on Friday, 515 cases on Saturday, and 368 cases on Sunday.
Across the province, there are 9,481 active cases, up from 10,037 on Friday.
In the Edmonton area, which includes the city of Edmonton and surrounding municipalities, there are 2,170 active cases. The City of Edmonton currently has 1,270 active cases, or 122.3 per 100,000 residents.
There are 821 people hospitalized with COVID-19, a decrease of 68 from Friday. Of those, 182 are in intensive care units, a decrease of nine.
Twenty-five more deaths brought the provincial death toll to 3,051.
Of Albertans age 12 and older who are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, 86.6 percent have received at least one dose in full. 78.9 percent are fully vaccinated with two doses.
