Tere Jiménez signed the Alliance for the Security of the Women of Aguascalientes. Accompanied by representatives of various associations and organizations that work to combat gender violence, the candidate promised that, during her administration, Aguascalientes would become a safe place for girls and women.

She announced the creation of the Specialized State Prosecutor for Women (FEMA), which will be headed by a woman and whose staff will be trained to deal with cases related to gender violence.

During his administration, institutional revictimization will be eradicated, there will be a joint cabinet and all areas of his administration will be certified with the Official Mexican Standard 025 that establishes Labor Equality and Non-Discrimination.

“We will be an administration with a gender perspective, all dependencies will be certified with the Official Mexican Standard 025. In our government we will eradicate the institutional re-victimization of women,” he assured.

The candidate of the “Va Por Aguascalientes” Coalition announced that a specialized police force will be formed to deal with cases of violence against women, with trained personnel who are sensitive to the needs of those who require their attention.

The Women’s Justice Center will be strengthened, extending the opening hours so that those who require it have guidance and company in a situation of violence.

Tere Jiménez pointed out that there will be Casas Rosas throughout the state, where women victims of violence and their sons or daughters will be protected, will receive support and accompaniment from experts on the subject, providing them with the necessary emotional, psychological or any other support. nature. In addition, the empowerment of women will be supported and incentives will be granted to employers who hire them.

“We are not going to leave them alone, we are going to accompany them and empower them economically. We have programs for them to start their own business, such as ‘Credit to the Word of Women’, and we can connect them with the Aguascalientes industry.”

He added that they will seek to consolidate Safe Transportation spaces especially to serve this sector of the population and that his administration will work hand in hand with Associations and Organizations that combat gender violence.

The candidate pointed out that, for the first time in history, Aguascalientes will have a female governor, which represents the possibility for women to be heard and for important advances to be made in gender equality.

“The women of Aguascalientes are not alone, we will walk together in this next State Government and we will work for an Aguascalientes in which girls and women can live safely and in peace,” she concluded.
