Aeromexico reports that the United States will no longer request a negative test for Covid-19

Aeromexico communicated this weekend to its passengers that as of the first minute of Sunday, June 12, those who travel to the United States will no longer have to present a negative test for Covid-19.

Documentation proving recovery from the disease in the last 90 days will not be required before boarding the plane.

“Aeroméxico informs that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of the United States of America updated the Entry requirements to the country, so the need to present during boarding (the previous requirements) is eliminated,” it was detailed in a statement.

The measure, as it had been anticipated in the week, will apply to all passengers who enter or connect in that country by air.

Despite this decision that aims to increase traveler flows, the US authority recommends keeping the scheme updated vaccination.

For more information on travel requirements, he suggested that his clients consult the official sites of the airline and of the US authorities.
