Adult population in Mexico returns little by little to the books


Although slightly more than 70% of the literate adult mexicans read some written resource (newspapers, blogs, printed texts) only four out of 10 consume books. This trend has remained constant in recent years, but with the Covid-19 pandemic the book-reading population grew modestly.

In 2020, the population over 18 years of age Read books was 41.1%, by 2022 it managed to advance two percentage points (43.2), according to figures from the Inegi Reading Module.
