The floodgates opened for Montreal in the second. Dvorak bounced a puck off the Detroit defender’s leg and outscored Thomas Greiss to extend Montreal’s lead to 3-1.

Then it was Perreault’s turn to score his first two as a Hab. For the first, he grabbed a loose puck that hit a skate in the neutral zone and carried it home.
