A young man in his twenties was killed on Sunday around 2 p.m. in Angers (Maine-et-Loire). He would have succumbed to several stab wounds, according to information reported by
West France. The events took place in an apartment located in a building on rue Martin-Luther-King, in the Roseraie district. According to the daily, the young man’s father was taken into custody.

The man was reportedly quickly identified as the perpetrator of the stab wounds. The altercation allegedly took place within the apartment. The firefighters had indeed been called by the witnesses of the scene but they could do nothing to save the young man, who succumbed to his injuries. An investigation has been opened to try to determine the circumstances of the tragedy. The father was still in custody this Sunday evening.
