An inanimate body was recovered from the North River in the Laurentians on Sunday morning.
It was after a call from a citizen that the police officers of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) moved to locate the body near Piedmont.
The victim would be a woman, indicated Nicolas Scholtus, spokesman for the SQ, specifying that expertises should be made in order to confirm the identity and the age of the victim.
