600 Nissan workers in Barcelona cut the Ronda Litoral

About 600 workers from NissanAccording to sources from the Urban Guard, they have mobilized this Friday morning in Barcelona to “demand the necessary political involvement from the administrations” in order to move forward with the reindustrialization project with the priority candidate Great Wall Motor (GWM) and urgently activate the different alternatives.

The march started at 10 a.m. and went from the plant of the Free Zone –where an Assembly has been held with the workers– until the Ronda Litoral, where they have cut traffic, union sources have reported to Europa Press. The workers’ meeting focused on explaining the situation after the lack of understanding with GWM “after the audit carried out by the company in the Nissan plants last week, which ended up questioning the productive capacity of the Catalan plants, as well as the asset status “.

The action of the workers has caused long queues in the Ronda.
