3 Teens Arrested After Guelph Restaurant Robbery: Police | The Canadian News

Guelph police say three teens were arrested in connection with a robbery at a South End restaurant on Dec. 11.

In an earlier press release, police said three men attacked another man in the restaurant while shouting profanity and racial slurs.

“Police have recognized hatred and / or prejudice as a contributing factor in this assault,” police said.

The victim was not seriously injured, police said.

Guelph police released photos of the men involved in the assault in hopes of identifying the suspects.

On Wednesday, police announced that two 15-year-old boys were arrested and charged with assault on December 27.

The next day, an 18-year-old man was charged with battery and mischief for less than $ 5,000. Police said he was 17 years old at the time of the assault.

All three were released and are scheduled to appear in court in February.
