Emergency services were notified shortly after midnight of the accident that occurred on Northbound Perrot Blvd.

“It is a vehicle that went off the road to hit a tree. The 23-year-old driver remained in the vehicle. In addition, the firefighters had to use the jaws of life to remove it, ”said Sergeant Stéphane Tremblay, spokesman for the Sûreté du Québec.

The seriously injured man was taken to hospital, where his life was still in danger on Saturday morning.
