Nova Scotia reported 26 new COVID-19 cases and 15 new recoveries on Thursday.
Most of the new cases, 23, are in the Central Zone, where the province continues to say that there is community spread “mainly among people between 20 and 40 years old who are not vaccinated and participate in social activities.”
There are also two new cases in the West Zone and one in the East Zone.

Nova Scotia Health labs completed 3,357 tests Wednesday. The province now has 198 active COVID-19 cases, 12 of which are in the hospital, including two in the ICU.
In a statement, the province said five schools were notified of an exposure at their school on Wednesday. A complete list of school exhibits can be found. here.
According to the provincial COVID-19 panel, 82% of Nova Scotians have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 76.6% are fully vaccinated.
