Italy will require a Covid passport from all workers, including those in the private sector

The Government of Italy is finishing the elaboration of a decree to impose the covid passport to all workers, both from the public and private sectors.

This measure has the approval of all the administrative regions of the country and its application is expected in mid-October. They are shuffled on the 10th or 15th of that month.

According to this decree, you must be vaccinated with at least one dose for 14 days, have passed the disease nine months before or take a test 48 hours before to access any job or even public transport.

As published by Corriere dela Sera, those who do not comply with this obligation can be fined between 400 and 1,000 euros and run the risk of being suspended from employment and salary.
