Google is reportedly preparing a new wireless charging stand for its Pixel 6 series smartphone with a lot of leaks.
9to5Google He dug through the code for Android 12 Beta 2 and discovered a new Made By Google wireless charger. This wireless charger is also a sports fan, according to the leak. Google’s original Pixel Stand could only generate 10W, so a fan was not necessary as there is no risk of overheating.
On the other hand, the OnePlus Warp wireless charger offered a 50W charge and required a fan to prevent it from overheating.
The fans of the new Google charger will be able to speed up, slow down and stop based on a variety of different factors. Reportedly, if you say “Ok Google” so the device can correctly understand your commands, the fans will quiet down.
If you are charging your phone and using your device’s recorder simultaneously, the fans will get even quieter. This will also happen when you go to bed. According to the leak, users will be able to manually switch the charger settings between ‘Auto’, ‘Silent’ and ‘Power Boost’. In Power Boost mode, the fans will spin much faster to compensate for a faster charge rate than usual.
9to5Google discovered that the code name for this accessory is “Luxuryliner”. The previous Pixel Stand featured the codename “Dreamliner”.
This adds more fuel to rumors that Google is working to make the Pixel 6 a flagship phone by offering faster charging than its predecessors. It’s unclear when the Pixe 6 will be officially revealed, although some reports indicate a late-September to mid-October release date.
